STARTING WAGE: $42.98 - $46.71

Job Summary

Under direct supervision assists employees of a higher classification in regulator work and in the maintenance and adjustment of pressure regulator and associated equipment throughout the distribution system.

Key Responsibilities

• Changes charts on recording gauges maintains adjusts and repairs marking devices on gauges.
• Services and maintains regulators in the field and shop.
• Turns on turns off and throttles valves to maintain prescribed pressures at varying flow conditions.
• Inspects and performs maintenance on main valves as needed or as assigned.
• Performs general maintenance on or in district regulator vaults and associated equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Must satisfactorily complete the training program for this job.
