About the team and role

Professional Services Team GBG Americas

The Professional Services team at GBG in the Americas region is a dynamic group of client-focused experts dedicated to delivering tailored identity and fraud solutions across a diverse portfolio of industries. This team partners closely with customers to ensure the successful implementation optimization and long-term value realization of GBGs technology. With a strong emphasis on collaboration innovation and service excellence the team operates in a fast-paced environment where cross-functional engagement and continuous learning are key. The Role

As aSenior Professional Services Consultantat GBG in the Americas region you will serve as the critical technical liaison between our identity verification platform and our enterprise clients. This role goes beyond traditional implementation. Youre a trusted advisor who leads customers through complex solution deployments and remains engaged to ensure long-term success. Youll drive adoption troubleshoot challenges and uncover opportunities for optimization and growth. This position blends the responsibilities of an implementation engineer customer advocate and strategic consultant offering a unique opportunity to make a measurable impact across high-profile client engagements.

What you will do

  • Lead technical implementationsfrom kick-off to go-live designing custom API/SDK integrations that fit each customers unique architecture
  • Build lasting customer relationshipsby staying engaged post-implementation monitoring their success and helping them get the most value from our platform
  • Create customer-specific documentationand run training sessions to ensure their development teams can effectively use and maintain their integration
  • Act as a strategic technical advisor identifying expansion opportunities and consulting on compliance security and scalability challenges
  • Be the voice of the customer internally working with our product teams to address gaps and influence our roadmap based on real customer needs
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issuesacross web services mobile apps and enterprise systems when customers need help


Requirements

Skills we are looking for

  • 5 years in customer-facing technical roleslike Professional Services Solutions Engineering or Technical Consulting
  • Strong programming backgroundwith experience in languages like Python Java JavaScript or C#
  • API and SDK integration expertisewith hands-on experience building and troubleshooting REST APIs webhooks and enterprise integrations
  • Exceptional communication skills you can explain complex technical concepts to both developers and business stakeholders
  • Documentation and training experiencecreating technical guides and delivering enablement sessions
  • Project management capabilitieswith experience juggling multiple customer implementations simultaneously
  • Problem-solving mindsetwith strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience in regulated industrieslike financial services healthcare or telecommunications
  • Identity verification or fintech backgroundwith an understanding of KYC/AML compliance requirements
  • Global team collaborationexperience working across time zones
  • Cloud platform knowledge(AWS Azure GCP) and enterprise security best practices
