Who are we looking for
Were looking for an experienced finance professional to fill the role ofFinance Business Partner.
Reporting to theSenior Finance Business Partner you will work closely with business leaders to provide forward looking analysis/guidance and commercial insights. With projects as a focus you will be involved in project pricing project terms negotiation live project reviews variation management and working capital performance to improve the operational performance.

There is flexibility in the GHD office location with preference for the role to be based in Newcastle.
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:
- Providing trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to align business direction financial strategies.
- Conducting analytical reviews on project budgets
- Providing support and financial management to projects within the business.
- Preparing and analysing various monthly management reports
- Analysing actual v budget expense accounts on the Profit and Loss Statement.
- Tender Reviews on project pricing assess profitability and risk.
- Assisting in addressing queries from various stakeholders.
What you will bring to the team:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting Finance or Commerce.
- Pursuing or completed CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- 3 years experience in a finance partnering or similar role
- Ability to operate under ambiguity and develop new ideas and business solutions.
- Ability to influence manage and prioritise across diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in delivering commercial outcomes.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as BST financial transaction systems and data analytics tools such asPlanning Analytics (TM1) PowerBi is highly desirable
- A high level of competency in MS Office applications.
- Experience in a project environment is highly desirable
