This role manages the sites Emergency Planning and Response (EPR) program and the Business Continuity Management (BCM). The role is responsible for plans and procedures that ensure proper response to events that affect normal business operations and owns the integrated plan for coordinated response to emergency events that may adversely impact people the environment and Pfizer business and assets or reputation in the community in which we reside. The role is responsible for working within the function of emergency officer or liaison officer for all hazards response. This role also manages site drill programs from planning to after-action reporting.
What You Will Achieve
In this role you will:
Lead the development and revision of emergency response planning and shutdown procedures.
Lead the development and revision of pre-planning emergencydocuments.
Act as the Lead for site Emergency Officers Team providing routine training and program improvements.
Conduct debriefs after action reports and lessons learned from emergency events.
Improve and maintain emergency communications and trainings (Everbridge severe weather training drills).
Provide updates and continuous improvements to the site Business Continuity Plan.
Facilitate emergency drills and exercises with site and external resources conducts debriefs to improve the program and issues drill reports.
Evaluate capital investments and changes and define actions required to implement to assure risk reduction and compliance.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
Applicant must have a bachelors degree with at least 2 years of experience; OR a masters degree with 0 years of experience; OR an associates degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience
Proven EHS experience
Certification in FEMAs National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100 200 & 700
One of the following: Medical First Responder or higher 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or HAZMAT Technician Fire fighter or other emergency certification.
Strong presentation skills with experience in concisely summarizing problems and recommending actions.
Excellent project management & leadership skills and initiative.
Excellent interpersonal skills creativity in problem-solving and flexibility
Good written and oral communication abilities
Proficiency in computer operations and experience with MS Office especially Word Excel and Outlook
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and perform complex data analysis. Self-driven insightful.
Work Environment:
Typically in an office environment but must be willing to work in the field and operating units as needed to fully analyze situations and implement solutions.
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Standard work schedule Monday Friday days; may infrequently require off-shift and weekend support.
