Education Experience Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy program.
- Current Washington State Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy license (or eligibility).
- Minimum 3 years of clinical physical therapy or occupational therapy experience preferably in a hospital or outpatient setting.
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of therapy regulations documentation standards and evidence-based practices.
- Excellent communication organizational and leadership skills.
Job Summary:
The Rehabilitation Supervisor oversees the daily operations of Rehabilitation Services ensuring high-quality patient-centered care. This role provides leadership and guidance to rehabilitation staff coordinates schedules monitors performance and supports compliance with regulatory standards. The Rehabilitation Supervisor also carries a patient caseload serving as both a clinician and a mentor to team members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise mentor and evaluate rehab staff to ensure quality care professional growth and effective teamwork.
- Coordinate staff scheduling to meet patient care needs efficiently.
- Assist with hiring onboarding training and performance evaluations of staff.
- Maintain compliance with state federal and accrediting body regulations as well as district policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support integrated patient care plans.
- Monitor patient outcomes documentation quality and productivity standards.
- Provide direct patient care as needed maintaining a reduced clinical caseload while balancing leadership responsibilities.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and participate in departmental planning and budgeting.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages staff engagement professional development and patient satisfaction.
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding clinical best practices workflow and problem-solving.
