Job Description

Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy - ProgressiveHealth of Indiana - Jasper IN

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team as a Director of Rehabilitation. You will also supervise a team of various titles and disciplines. What will you be doing in this role

  • Direct daily operations of outpatient division and business unit.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the department as well as establishes a culture of safety and quality improvement.
  • Manage carry maintain and foster client relations with case managers ordering physicians hospital administration and patients ensuring optimal satisfaction among all process stakeholders.
  • In addition this licensed healthcare provider must perform the essential functions and responsibilities listed under the job description for their area of practice.

Our ideal candidate would:

  • Have a Bachelors Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy/Speech Language Pathology
  • Have the required state licensure certification and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
  • Provide a CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or have the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
  • Have previous managerial experience in a healthcare facility
  • Have some advanced education training or certification is a bonus (neuro care sports medicine etc)
  • Have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment without constant supervision
  • Be able to maintain confidentiality
