Position Summary The Utility Interface Professional serves as the primary liaison between Cenergistic and client utility providers. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of utility interactions on behalf of clients including account setup bill acquisition interval meter data access and meter management. By ensuring accurate and timely utility data flow the Utility Interface Professional plays a critical role in supporting energy management strategies reporting and overall client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Utility Bill Management Collect verify and process utility bills from various providers. Ensure timely delivery of bills for client reporting and energy analysis. Work directly with utilities to resolve billing discrepancies or missing data.
Meter Data Management Facilitate access to interval meter data from utility providers. Oversee meter additions deletions and changes across client accounts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date meter inventories for each client.
Client Support & Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries regarding utility billing and metering. Provide timely updates to clients and internal stakeholders on utility account status data acquisition progress and issue resolution.
Utility Provider Relationships Establish and maintain strong working relationships with utility account representatives. Monitor utility policies rate changes and data access procedures that may impact clients.
Data Accuracy & Compliance Ensure utility data is accurate complete and delivered on schedule. Maintain compliance with all relevant utility regulatory and data privacy requirements.
Qualifications Education: Bachelors degree in Business Energy Management Data Analytics or related field (preferred).
Experience: 10 years of experience in utility account management energy services or related field. Familiarity with utility billing systems interval meter data and energy data platforms.
Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools. Strong problem-solving ability and keen attention to detail.
