About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Environmental Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive this role you will play an important part in maintaining a safe hygienic and welcoming environment for our patients staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelines
• Ensuring all equipment is cleaned restocked and stored appropriately
• Taking responsibility and accountability for your allocated duties
• Following safe work practices and adhering to workplace health and safety requirements

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role you will ideally bring:

• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or similar environment (highly desirable)
• Experience with cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers (highly desirable)
• A sound understanding of OHS and safe work practices
• The ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard safely and efficiently
