WHAT IS GOING ON
We have a successful parts and service team and need a bright candidate to help us keep up with the high demand for our services at our parts counter. This is a great entry-level position to get into the automotive service industry.

Money of course: This is an entry-level position with a salary plus commission.

WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work to help the people in Acadiana keep their cars on the road. You dont need experience in automotive part sales. The ideal person would be an organized ambitious person who connects with others easily desires meaningful work and is hardworking. We are looking for some simple qualifications such as:
- CDK experience or experience with a similar platform.
- High School Diploma or equivalent and prior auto parts sales experience (preferred)
- Eager to improve in a dynamic work environment
- Strong interpersonal and time management skills
- Ability to read/interpret safety and maintenance documents
- Ability to calculate figures/amounts including discounts interest commissions proportions % area circumference and volume
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record

- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish.
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Converse effectively/efficiently regarding customer parts status.
- Read and understand the parts catalog when looking up and speaking to specific parts.
- Answer phone calls provide price quotes and provide other information to customers.
- Review body shop estimates to verify that the parts ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate.
- Provide high-level service to both internal and external customers.
- Pull/fill orders from stock and maintain weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock.
- Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locate out-of-stock parts from an outside source and submit an emergency order if necessary.
- Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order.
- Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization.

Its a 40-hour-a-week position with every weekend off. Cant beat that!
