Job Summary

Arapahoe Community College is looking for a Learning Technology Coordinator at the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) where collaboration and creativity drive educational this role youll support faculty and instructors in integrating educational technology and digital media to enhance teaching across face-to-face and online formats. Youll lead technology pilots consult on course design and promote accessible student-centered learning experiences. This position is ideal for someone passionate about innovation inclusion and empowering educators in a dynamic higher education environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead educational technology initiatives including pilot programs and management of the CITL Studio to support innovative teaching practices.
  • Design and deliver training and maintain resources that help faculty effectively use technology and digital media in their courses.
  • Provide expert consultation on course design accessibility and digital content integration across disciplines and modalities.
  • Analyze data and feedback to evaluate the impact of technology on student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with research and best practices in educational technology.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorsdegreeor higherineducational technology instructional designor related field. Equivalent combined education and experience may substitute the degree requirement but will not count towards the experience requirement listed below.

  • Two (2) years experience using Desire2Learn or other learning management systems.

  • Experience using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA withcontent creation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with resources for students and faculty with disabilities such as JAWS Dragon Naturally Speaking and others.

  • Experience with educational copyright laws.
  • Experience teachingin a higher education context.
  • Experience with project management.
  • Experience working with a diverse faculty and student population.
