With a shared commitment of providing high-quality evidence-driven care our state-of-the-art 52-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital is dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the planning and implementation of the nutrition care of the patients in accordance with applicable federal state and local standards and regulations clinical guidelines and policies and procedures. Collaborates with Nutritional Services manager to ensure accurate food service is provided to patients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skills and/or abilities required.
Education: Bachelors degree or higher in dietetics or nutrition related field.
Experience: Previous experience in acute care setting preferred.
Certifications: Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Licenses: State licensure/certification if required by state.

Works in well-lit ventilated and climate-controlled office environment with routine office equipment; some equipment has moving mechanical parts.
In hospital environment may be exposed to hazards and unusual elements which may include but are not limited to bloodborne pathogens and / or contagious illnesses toxic chemicals and biohazardous materials which may require extensive safety precautions and the use of protective equipment.
Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital environment.
Part-Time
