Welcome to Business Finance R&D and Enabling functions
We are part of a global Business Finance function in Novonesis a diverse and closely connected group responsible for financial planning and analysis as well as partnering towards various business areas to help drive performance value creation and profitability in close collaboration with senior leadership.
Our team supports a great number of stakeholders within the business areas of R&D People and Stakeholder Relations Strategy & Integration and CFO area. We share an ambition to tackle complex issues in a broad stakeholder environment while keeping a good team dynamic and mutual support for each other.
In this role youll make an impact by:
AsFinance Business Partner supporting R&D you will play a key role in driving business performance by supporting across the R&D organization. You will partner with the business take ownership of financial performance management processes for R&D and help shape and execute the R&D strategy in close collaboration with the Business Finance R&D and R&D leadership team. You are expected to drive tasks and projects forward independently in close collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization.
In this role youll have the opportunity to sharpen your financial and commercial skills while building a strong professional network across the organization. Youll contribute to empowering people enabling transparency and supporting informed decision-making. Additionally you will join an international group of talented finance professionals working together to deliver exceptional results.
In this role you will primarily be working with:
Lead Performance Management for R&D: Own and drive the financial performance management process and annual financial cycle for R&D in collaboration with the business and R&D Business Finance team.
Partner with the R&D organization: Act as a trusted advisor to the R&D organization offering expertise on financial topics including support for externally funded R&D projects.
Deliver Financial Insights: Provide data-driven financial analysis to support decision-making on R&D investments.
Lead and Support Projects: Take ownership of key projects within R&D and Enabling as well as other initiatives across the finance function as directed by management.
Drive Teamwide Improvements: Contribute to the broader Business Finance team and beyond by sharing best practices driving process improvements and collaborating on initiatives to enhance overall performance and capabilities.
You will thrive in this role if you bring some of the following:
A university degree or equivalent in Business Economics Finance Accounting or a related field is preferred but not required.
Significant experience (5 years recommended) in Finance Business Partnering Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar role with a strong financial skillset. Expertise in financial modeling budgeting and forecasting processes is highly desirable.
We value strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail and the ability to collaborate on resolving complex issues.
The ability to adapt to change remain steady in dynamic environments and contribute to the successful execution of initiatives.
Values clear communication builds meaningful relationships and works collaboratively across diverse teams and organizational levels.
An eagerness to work collaboratively support team success and take initiative in fostering a positive and inclusive workplace
