Job Description
Job Title: Senior SAP TM Functional Consultant (S/4HANA)
Location: 100% Remote (must be in same time zone)
Work Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Duration: 5 months with possibility of renewal
Rate: $100/hour INC or $119000/year T4
Language Requirement: Bilingual (French/English) or English-speaking
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP TM Functional Expert with deep expertise in S/4HANA to design configure and deploy transportation management solutions. This strategic role involves full ownership of transportation and logistics processes ensuring business requirements are translated into high-performing SAP solutions.
This mandate offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic international and demanding environment at the heart of complex projects with high autonomy and significant impact potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and configuration of SAP TM solutions in S/4HANA environments.
- Translate business requirements into robust well-documented SAP solutions.
- Provide functional specifications to technical and ABAP teams.
- Configure and optimize transportation order management planning execution tendering costing and settlement.
- Support collaboration processes with carriers through SAP LBN (Logistics Business Network).
- Deliver post-implementation support incident resolution and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Conduct business workshops gather requirements and deliver tailored SAP TM solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional SAP teams (SD MM EWM FI/CO) and external systems.
- Produce necessary documentation (functional specs user guides reports).
- Support users in adopting SAP TM best practices and drive process optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 9 years of relevant SAP TM experience including expertise with SAP LBN.
- Proven end-to-end SAP TM project experience (at least 2 full implementations ideally on S/4HANA).
- Strong functional expertise across transportation management: order management planning execution tendering costing and settlement.
- Deep integration knowledge with SAP SD MM EWM FI/CO and third-party systems.
- Excellent problem-solving analytical and communication skills.
- Experience working within organizations of 10000 employees.
