Job Summary
Johns Hopkins All Childrens Hospital (JHACH) is seeking a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team. As part of our nationally recognized childrens hospital youll work alongside experienced nurses support staff and fellow physicians in a dynamic and supportive environment that emphasizes excellence in pediatric care.
About the Opportunity:
- Certified as a designated Pediatric Trauma Center by the Florida Department of Health.
- 26-bed Emergency Center with plans to expand to 32 beds to meet growing demand.
- 41000 annual visits offering a high-volume high-acuity clinical experience.
- PEMs staff 50 hours of coverage per day with additional hours by a Pediatrician and APPs.
- Work approximately 14 shifts per month rotating through days nights weekends and holidays.
- Opportunity to teach collaborate and engage in quality improvement initiatives.
- Board Certified preferred. New grads are welcome to apply.
Qualifications:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
- Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to team-based care and a patient-centered approach.
- Passion for delivering high-quality compassionate care to pediatric patients and families.
