The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is recruiting for a Temporary Part Time Compliance Auditor. This position will assist with evaluating conformity with state laws federal regulations and other compliance components through conducting performance and compliance audits other engagements special projects and investigations. Performs planning field work and reports the results to MDT management. This position will be part of the internal section which concentrates on providing MDT with audits designed to add value and improve efficiency and effectiveness of the departments operations internal controls and compliance. This position will report to the Compliance Audit Manager Internal Section.

Bachelors degree in accounting finance business administration information technology or a closely related field.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to form and document logical conclusions. Provide recommendations based on the conclusion.
