Position Overview
The Senior Network Administrator or Network Engineer is responsible for designing implementing maintaining and securing the companys network infrastructure. This includes LAN WAN VPN wireless security systems cloud networking and monitoring. This position is on-site and requires hands-on technical expertise in enterprise networking and system security.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as CCNA CCNP CompTIA Network Plus CompTIA Security Plus Fortinet NSE Azure Network Engineer Associate or AWS networking certifications.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial IT environments.
- Experience with automation platforms such as Ansible or Terraform.
- Knowledge of VoIP systems wireless controllers and SD-WAN solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or a related field is preferred; however an equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- 7 years of experience in network administration or network engineering.
- Exp with TCP/IP routing switching VLANs subnetting and network segmentation.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Fortinet or Juniper network devices.
- Experience configuring firewalls VPNs VLANs IDS and IPS systems.
- Working knowledge of SIEM tools and security log analysis.
- Experience with Azure or AWS networking including VPCs VPN gateways and hybrid network integration.
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds PRTG or Nagios.
- Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills using tools such as Wireshark.
- Ability to work on-site in Fort Worth TX
