All Tex is hiring experience welders!!
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated skills using MIG and TIG welding processes.
- Welding components in flat vertical or overhead positions.
- Adhere to safety procedures and process.
- Examining work pieces for defects and measure work pieces with straightedges templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
- Welding separately or in combination using aluminum stainless steel and Steel Carbon.
- Receives instructions prints and work orders for the job. Plans details of working
procedure and tools and material requirements. - Fabricates equipment by cutting burning and welding various metals.
- Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded. Sets up assembles and tacks weld parts.
- Builds up worn or defective surfaces.
- Uses burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
- GED or High School diploma required certificate from a technical or vocational school is preferred.
- Understand and apply welding techniques and ability to operate welding equipment
with skill - Steel/Aluminum experience is preferred
- Fabrications with welding and layout
- Candidates are given a written & hands on weld test prior to position being offered. The welding to be performed at the Customers facility for repairs to Fuel Haulers or also referred to as Rolling 18-Wheeler Tanks.
- Candidates should have tools and equipment.
This is a very small Company in an older part of town. Environment is as expected with a Truck Welding company.
Currently it is the Owner Kurt An Office Manager Dee and one other Mechanic.
Work Hours: 8:99 - 5:00
M-F - I did not ask about OT.
