Job Duties:
- Maintain and manage the project database to ensure timely identification of issues giving rise to variations including collation of supporting information / documentation within your area of responsibility.
- Support the Commercial Manager in creating high quality remeasured BOQ documentation to substantiate claims for any variations in scope of work and valuation of the variations.
- Where change occurs analyse the tender quantities with the change team and advise the Commercial Manager of the potential for re rating of BOQ items. Including build up of new rates from first principles.
- Coordinate with the wider project team to provide detailed particulars and substantiation necessary to allow early agreement of variation claims.
Job Requirements:
- Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
- Experience in claims and variation is preferable
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Main Contractor
- Experience in the large building project
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English. Fluency in Chinese is preferable.
