About this Role.
The Level 1 IT Support Officer is the first point of contact for team members experiencing technical issues. This role provides timely and effective support for hardware software systems and network-related queries ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. This role creates efficiencies for the broader IT team which supports the Organisations mission of transforming lives.
Key Responsibilities include:
End User Support Troubleshooting:
Serving as the first point of contact for IT support requests; triaging and respond to requests or referring to a senior IT specialist and support users with project management tools Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite of applications email and standard business applications.
Infrastructure support:
Assisting in the management and support of on-premises IT equipment & network infrastructure; and monitor and check backup solutions and perform file restores as required.
Routine IT Tasks:
Monitor system alerts perform health checks on end users devices and systems as well as audits and reporting of user accounts across systems and applications. It also includes maintaining an inventory of IT equipment and software licenses and review of devices and security compliance.
Projects and Communication:
Assist in IT projects such as equipment refresh new system provisioning and infrastructure projects.
