- Hours: MondayFriday 7:30 AM 3:30 PM
- Every Other Saturday: 7:00 AM 9:00 AM
- Pay Range: $41- 45 per hour
- Sign-On Bonus: $2500

Are you a compassionate nurse looking for a consistent weekday schedule in a low-stress outpatient setting
Join Community Medical Services (CMS) as a Dosing Nurse (LPN or RN) and help individuals on their path to recovery from opioid use disorder. Youll work closely with patients and medical providers to administer medication and support those taking courageous steps toward a healthier future.
What Youll Do
As a Dosing Nurse youll play a critical clinical and relational role in the recovery process.
Duties include:
Medication Administration
- Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately
- Monitor for symptoms of withdrawal intoxication or adverse reactions
- Prepare Take home medication
- Respond to medical emergencies and administer CPR as needed
Patient Monitoring & Support
- Obtain and record vital signs urine samples and blood draws
- Conduct point-of-care urine drug screens
- Engage with patients in supportive therapeutic conversation
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Ensure medication inventory control and order supplies
- Prevent and report medication diversion per policy
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with physicians and clinical teams
- Coordinate with external facilities and transfer patients when needed
- Travel to assigned CMS sites when required
- Licensed LPN or RN in state of employment
- CPR certification required
- Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites (reliable transportation required)
- Experience in the field of substance use disorders preferred but not required
- Knowledge of the signs of intoxication and opioid withdrawal symptoms
- Demonstrates accuracy in medication administration and ability to maintain accurate client records
- Must have reliable transportation
Preferred
- Experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health
- Familiarity with opioid withdrawal and signs of intoxication
