Kinzler CorporationofAnkeny IAis looking to hire afull-time Fleet &Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance compliance and operations readiness for Kinzler Corporations vehicles equipment and facilities across multiple locations. In this role youll keep our fleet rolling and facilities running. Youll make sure our vehicles equipment and buildings are safe compliant and ready to support fast-paced construction operations. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLEET & FACILITIES MANAGER

Youll start your day reviewing fleet dashboards maintenance schedules and fuel usage to ensure all vehicles and equipment are ready for job sites. Youll visit facilities or yards to oversee repairs coordinate with vendors and ensure safety compliance. Throughout the day youll collaborate with field leadership to confirm equipment readiness negotiate vendor contracts manage budgets and plan upcoming fleet acquisitions and facility projects. Each day blends problem-solving operational oversight and long-term planning to keep operations running smoothly.

WHAT YOULL DO

Fleet Management

  • Inspect repair and schedule preventative maintenance for vehicles trailers and equipment
  • Manage fleet compliance: DOT FMCSA IFTA registrations and insurance
  • Track fuel usage and administer fuel cards and fleet systems
  • Coordinate acquisitions upfitting decommissioning and disposals
  • Oversee drivers and fleet assets in tracking software

Facilities Management

  • Maintain buildings warehouses and yards; oversee repairs and safety compliance
  • Manage vendors for HVAC lighting janitorial snow removal and security
  • Lead emergency preparedness and safety protocols
  • Plan and execute capital projects and space planning

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 5 years in fleet facilities or operations management (construction experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational problem-solving and vendor management skills
  • Proficient with fleet tracking software compliance reporting and Microsoft Office
  • Valid drivers license and clean record (CDL or OSHA certification a plus)
