At TI Communities we put people firstour residents our teams and the communities we serve. Were seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team and play a key role in supporting our employees across multiple markets nationwide.
What Youll Do
As an HR Generalist youll be the go-to partner for employees and leaders on. Youll balance compliance and employee relations with creativity and care ensuring our teams have the tools guidance and support to thrive.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for HR inquiries providing guidance on policies procedures and employee relations
- Supporting recruitment onboarding and new hire orientation processes
- Administering benefits leave requests and HR programs with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assisting managers with performance management coaching and corrective action processes
- Coordinating compliance initiatives including Fair Housing ADA and employment law requirements
- Maintaining accurate employee records reports and HRIS data
- Supporting employee engagement programs and company-wide initiatives that build culture and community
What Were Looking For
- 2 years of HR experience; multifamily or service-industry experience is a plus
- Knowledge of HR laws practices and compliance requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building trust and relationships
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems a plus
- A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced people-centered environment
