High School Diploma
Three Years clerical experience preferred
Experience using email word processing and office computer applications
Electronic file management experience
Strong organizational communication public relations and interpersonal skills
Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the Executive Director

CENTER RESPONSIBILITIES
Process all personal timekeeping travel reporting and other paperwork in a timely manner
Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific job position
Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job
Report for work ready to perform responsibilities
Support the mission goals and objectives of the ESC
Uphold and adhere to safety rules and policies of the ESC
Perform professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies processes and procedures
Meet proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined by supervisor
Incorporate appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor
Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC
Develop collaborative and positive relationships with schools and co-workers
Exhibit planning and leadership on assigned tasks and projects
Ability to take initiative and exhibit innovative thinking

DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to handle and see to completion multiple projects simultaneously and on deadline
Ability to take personal initiative and assume ownership for projects and work
Demonstrate positive attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
Willing to work as a member of a team but also independently
Uphold confidentiality of the information processed in all work if required
Respond to district and campus personnel with an attitude of service
Attend all departmental staff meetings and general staff meeting
Adhere to the policies and procedures of Region 8 ESC
Contribute to the accomplishment of departmental Integrated Academic Team and organizational goals
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the vision mission and beliefs of Region 8 ESC
Support grant objectives related to Nita M Lowey 21st Century Grant
Assist the 21st Century Program Coordinator Family Engagement Consultant and District ACE Leaders in the compilation and maintenance of reports budget records and dissemination of communications
Attend and contribute to department meetings
Process requisitions and purchase orders for department
Incorporate appropriate technology in daily work and exhibit continual growth in technologies
Communicate with the public teachers and other staff
Answer the telephone relay messages answer questions according to prescribed procedures
Open and distribute mail and collect information
Make appointments schedule meeting sites and times assist in contacting staff for various meetings and activities and maintains a calendar for the 21st CCLC Program Leaders
Attend meetings relevant to the 21st Century CLC guidelines
Type and maintain files of correspondence reports office records and other details relative to the 21st CCLC grant
Prepare and disseminate reports records forms and correspondence
Maintains appropriate documentation as outlined in the grant.
Maintain a filing and record system for 21st Century Community Learning Centers Grant
Maintain records of expenditures and budgets for the 21st Century CLC.
Utilize Pentamation System: Enter requisitions runs detailed expenditure reports
Ensure that appropriate accounts are being used and that sufficient funds are available
Communicate and collaborate with appropriate campus staff and with community resources to enact grant-provided activities Support the collaboration of family engagement programs and initiatives to support parent and student success including adult education services and volunteer opportunities
Collect data and support Region 8s Nita M Lowey 21st Century Grant schools improvement efforts
Track center expenditures against the grant budget
Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy Executive Director and/or Executive Director
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
207 working days
This is an at-will employment position
In the event of an economic slump a reduction-in-force may be necessary
employees will be notified in writing

Grant funded. Nita M Lowey 21st Century Grant 5 year cycle grant. Must be applied and received yearly
Grant Cycle End Date: 7/2026 Grant funded positions may not exist past the end date
