As the Lead Operations Specialist - based at location in Fawley Hampshire - you will be required to sell and service our existing customers to grow the revenue stream in the assigned location. You will provide a vital service by implementing monitoring and evaluating chemical delivery systems. You will work and adapt to our ever-changing job requirements daily to satisfy our customer requirements.

As a Lead Operations Specialist you will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing all aspects of production chemistry supply and service contracts to ensure successful delivery to our customers

  • Providing on-site technical guidance and support for production operations process engineering commercial and operational queries

  • Monitoring troubleshooting and optimizing of chemical treatment programs to provide support to the production operations group

  • Preparing of technical reviews and proposals of new chemical solutions to share with our customers

  • Prospecting for new support applications and scope expansion to build the customer base in the area of responsibility

  • Organizing routine production chemical reviews and selection activities to verify changing customer needs

  • Being responsible for billing & collection invoicing including preparing and conducting on filing data entry and administrative support

  • Assisting with receipt and processing of orders also facilitating resolution of inquiries and customer concerns related to the order and delivery process

  • Dealing with only limited product line(s) and/or handling special project(s) as assigned

  • Maintaining internal compliance and the highest HSE standards to ensure a safe working environment

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Chemistry Science or related fields

  • Demonstrate good experience (at least 5 years of experience) in Production Chemicals Application or Chemical Industrial Services

  • Have knowledge of process optimization and refinery production chemistry (desalting overhead corrosion control fouling control etc.)

  • Be a self-starter proactively taking the initiative to solving problems and providing resolutions to a variety of service delivery fulfilment projects often simultaneously

  • Demonstrate computer skills and be familiar with MS Office

  • Have the ability to work outside during difficult seasonal weather conditions

  • Hold a full UK/International driving license
