We are looking for a LATAM Legal Manager - Labor to join our Legal Team based in Sorocaba Brazil reporting to the LATAM Legal Director.

The LATAM Legal Manager - Labor will be responsible for managing labor litigation administrative and judicial proceedings and labor advisory matters across Latin America. This role is critical to mitigating risks reducing costs and protecting the companys reputation in one of the most complex labor environments worldwide.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full labor portfolio including judicial and administrative proceedings individual and collective actions class actions and settlements.
  • Provide preventive labor law advisory to internal stakeholders including HR and management ensuring compliance with Brazilian and LATAM regulations.
  • Actively support programs related to prevention of occupational disease and health & safety matters in collaboration with HR and EHS.
  • Monitor and analyze litigation trends KPIs and data to identify risks optimize outcomes and propose process improvements.
  • Manage and oversee external law firms and litigation budgets ensuring efficiency and accountability.
  • Ensure proper use of litigation management systems and accurate reporting of cases and provisions.
  • Support regional and global compliance and audit requirements related to labor and employment.
  • Represent the Legal Department in negotiations with unions labor authorities and the Ministry of Labor or Public Prosecutors Office.
  • Availability to travel as required to support LATAM operations.

Who are we looking for

  • Bachelors Degree in Law and active license to practice in Brazil.
  • Specialization and strong previous experience in Labor Law are mandatory requirements.
  • Masters degree in Labor Law is desirable.
  • Solid experience managing judicial and administrative labor proceedings and providing labor law advisory.
  • Professional background in multinational companies preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Experience working with data management and process management systems are mandatory.
  • Proven ability to manage external law firms and control legal spend.
  • Strong business orientation and ability to partner with HR EHS and business leaders.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable for broader LATAM scope.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to operate across diverse cultures.
  • Availability to travel within Latin America.
