A Brief Summary of This Position:
The Production Supervisor is a first-line Supervisor who serves as a highly driven individual that will be responsible for safety product quality exercising cost control producing parts to schedule motivating shop employees to attain quantity and quality standards and administering company & division policies. This position supervises hourly production employees and maintains the log of shift operations.

Working Environment and Physical Efforts:
Work is performed in a factory setting with most of the time being spent moving around different areas of manufacturing and shipping areas. The incumbent is regularly required to sit stand and walk for extended periods of time as well as talk and listen on the phone and in personal conversations or meetings. This position will be exposed to all hazards located at manufacturing sites including noise fumes excessive heat/cold dust welding arc all chemicals associated with the manufacturing areas smoke and confined spaces. Environment is fast paced and demanding most of the time. This position may require long hours to support production initiatives for a two-shift operation.
The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms while working in the office with various files and forms and while working on the computer. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds in working with large files binders and boxes of paper. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision peripheral vision and depth perception.
