Primary Locations:
- Naval Air Station Meridian Meridian MS 39309
- Camp Shelby Hattiesburg MS 39401
(Additional training sites across the Southeast and nationwide possible including Alaska and Hawaii)
Position Type: Part-Time / Independent Contractor
- Peer Support Course (32 hours / 4 days) resiliency stress survival suicide prevention family/work stress management peer support skills.
- Officer Involved Shooting for Drug Enforcement Course (8 hours / 1 day) preparing officers for the physical emotional investigative and public perception challenges following an officer-involved shooting.
- 510 years of law enforcement experience (local state federal or military police).
- Retired or senior-level professional preferred (detective supervisor federal agent academy trainer etc.).
- Proven background in critical incidents officer wellness peer support or officer survival training.
- Instructor or academy teaching experience strongly preferred.
- Must pass background checks and meet DoD installation access requirements.
- Willingness to travel for training delivery (telework not authorized).
