Utilization Management Reviewer

As the Utilization Management Reviewer you will support daily operations by tracking authorizations researching issues coordinating with third-party payors outside agencies and clinics processing discharges and handling additional tasks to ensure optimal departmental this role you require considerable independent initiative and judgment serving as a resource to upper management with occasional travel. The reviewer has decision-making authority in program planning policy development and coordination of Medicaid and non-Medicaid service programs. Participation in regular meetings to strategize on increasing system capacity is also included.
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree
Defined Education: Psychology Sociology or Social Work
One (1) Years Experience
Defined Experience: Direct Care
License/Certifications: Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) OR eligible for QMHP certification; Valid Texas Drivers License
