Job Description

Job Summary Developer State of New York (Office of Mental Health):

- Participate in OMH Legacy Risk Remediation and other related IT projects.
- Design develop and implement software solutions using C# .Net MVC PL/SQL and other relevant technologies.
- Maintain and enhance web applications utilizing HTML JavaScript jQuery Bootstrap AJAX XML and JSON.
- Develop and maintain Oracle database schemas write PL/SQL code stored procedures triggers and perform database migrations.
- Integrate applications using SOA principles develop web services (WCF) REST/SOAP APIs and microservices.
- Ensure application compliance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and HIPAA requirements.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Microsoft Visual Studio 2019 or higher.
- Prepare scripts and manage database objects (tables indexes views constraints).
- Diagnose troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues including Crystal Reports maintenance.
- Mentor and support other developers on debugging troubleshooting security deployment and system architecture.
- Utilize source code repositories (TFS or GitLab) for version control branching and code management.
- Handle incidents service requests and coordinate application releases using IT Service Management tools.
- Communicate task status outstanding issues and escalate critical production problems as needed.
