Job Description
Job Developer (.NET/Oracle) State of New York/NYSIF
- Participate heavily in the ongoing Claims Center Plus project to upgrade the agencys technology platform and streamline business process workflows.
- Contribute significantly to the Increase Field Sizes of Critical Data Elements project including necessary front-end and back-end changes.
- Provide production support for existing claims applications including Case Management Compensation Payments Reserves eClaims reporting and related reporting modules.
- Design develop test and implement new application modules using Microsoft C#.NET MVC and Oracle PL/SQL.
- Develop and maintain Oracle database objects (tables triggers packages procedures functions views) perform SQL tuning and generate data files from Oracle.
- Execute medium to large-scale data migration activities including data normalization cleansing mapping and batch processing.
- Integrate new and existing systems/processes to support organizational needs and project goals.
- Utilize JavaScript JQuery CSS and HTML for front-end development tasks.
- Use version control (TFS or GIT) and Azure DevOps for code management branching merging and deployment activities.
- Follow NYSIF s application development standards project management methodologies SDLC enterprise architecture and IT governance processes.
- Support compliance with IAIABC standards for Workers Compensation insurance and participate in related data/reporting activities.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders team members and other IT departments to deliver project objectives on time and within scope.
