Title: Network Deployment Project Manager
Location: Onsite 3 days per week in Plano TX
Note:
Must have 90% of the following skills:
- Current Telecom with
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network deployment
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams
- Strong knowledge of network deployment processes and project management methodologies
- Previous Verizon experience is preferred- Fuze
- PMP is a Must
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
Overview:
Our client is seeking a Network Deployment Project Manager that will lead end-to-end planning execution and delivery of network deployment projects. This role ensures timely completion adherence to scope and compliance with Verizon Wireless standards while driving quality and efficiency across cross-functional teams. A key part of this role involves proactive risk assessment and mitigation to ensure project continuity and minimize disruptions.
Responsibilities:
- Assign tasks to the deployment team and update data in AMDOCS deployment & PM tools.
- Review project plans and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Technical Oversight: Ensure familiarity with centralized-RAN architecture Nokia/Cisco routers CRAN Hubs BBU Siteboss alarm units and their deployment cycles.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential project delays cost overruns or technical issues.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with clients consultants contractors and internal teams for seamless execution.
- Quality & Reporting: Implement quality assurance processes aligned with Verizon Wireless standards. Prepare and present status reports using Amdocs PM tool
- Problem Solving & Team Development: Resolve project-related issues promptly. Provide training and guidance to team members.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in network engineering Telecommunications or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in network deployment or project management with Verizon Network.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of network deployment processes and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g. Microsoft project management tools).
Preferred
- Certification in project management (e.g. PMP).
- Verizon experience. Familiarity with Verizon operations and Tools (e.g. Fuze)
