Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a candidate for the position of Senior Bridge Design Project Engineer V - Rail Bridge Lead in the growing Transportation Engineering Group in Omaha Nebraska.
Specifics of the role include:
- Coordinates and provides technical expertise for mid- large-size projects.
- Strong emphasis on railway bridge design and deliveries.
- Leads technical client relationships and plays a major role in selling.
- Leads discipline department efforts to grow technical expertise.
- Leads technical business development work.
- Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staffs specific area of expertise.
- Approves and signs off on work.
- Leader in one or more areas of technology.
- Provides estimates for the engineering budget and schedule a to meet requirements on large complex projects.

Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Ability to pass MVR check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years experience in bridge design
- Extensive project design experience with railway system bridges and related structures
- Project management skills
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills including technical report writing.
- Structural problem analysis skills (including knowledge/use of design and calculation tools software)
- Knowledgeable of standard engineering practices techniques and applicable Codes.
- Knowledge of current structural modeling software tools
- A current PE license.

- Offered rate of compensation (Omaha NE. area only) will be based on individual education qualifications experience and work location. The salary range for this position is $130000 - $190000.00.
