Job Description
Maintenance Electrician-Mount Sinai Morningside
Provides maintenance service and preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment
Responsibilities
- Makes connections to new electrical installations removes and replaces defective wiring and conduits
- Tests circuits to comply with safety regulations written and oral instructions
- Cleans and makes minor repairs to motors and electrical fixtures both high and low voltages
- Installs and maintains electrical communication and generator systems and equipment according to standard practice of trade and safety regulations set up by State and local governments
Qualifications
Requirements:
- HS Diploma/GED required
- Vocational School
- At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $39.92 - $43.01 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors including experience education and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
