Job Profile Summary
Performs diagnostic general/vascular ultrasound procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment under the direction of a qualified physician. Performs non-invasive vascular testing procedures and writes preliminary interpretations.
Degree in Radiologic Technology Diagnostic Medical Sonography and/or vascular technology required. Related field or completion of a training program acceptable to their registry board ARRT or ARDMS. ARRT or ARDMS . Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)

Sentara Albemarle Medical Center located in Elizabeth City NC serves northeastern North Carolina with a caring team of approximately 650 employees and 150 medical providers. The 135-acre campus coming out of the ground at Halstead Boulevard Extended and Thunder Road will be known as the Sentara Albemarle Regional Health Campus. It is projected to cost about $200 million up from the original estimate of $158 million due to sharp spikes in costs for building materials and medical equipment.
