Start dates are not flexible Must have worked in a facility using Epic EMR in the previous 12 months - travelers should have a strong foundation in Epic and demonstrate proficiency by testing out of Epic training during facility orientation. All travelers are required to provide documentation to employee health demonstrating immunity for facility requirements. Please note that medical or religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety of our patients staff and community. Clearance documentation will be due two weeks before assignment start. Incomplete documents will result in cancellation. Clearance appointment needs to be completed on Thursday (9/25) - recommended or Friday (9/26). First day of work/orientation will be on Saturday 9/27. General Job duties/ Types of procedures required. - Care for laboring mom assist with delivery and immediate care of newborn and post-delivery care for mom. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.- Computerized system-EPIC. Fetal monitoring system - GE/Centricity Required skills and minimum years of experience. - Labor and delivery skills with a minimum of 3 years. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. - BLS & NRP (REQUIRED) STABLE & Advance FM (RECOMMENDED) Shift or schedule requirements- 12 Hour shifts (36 hours weekly) following the first week of orientation. Scheduled 12 hours call at least once/month. No guarantee of hours or shift preference. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.- L&D 8 Labor Beds; Postpartum 18 Beds
