Start dates are not flexible Must have worked in a facility using Epic EMR in the previous 12 months - travelers should have a strong foundation in Epic and demonstrate proficiency by testing out of Epic training during facility orientation. All travelers are required to provide documentation to employee health demonstrating immunity for facility requirements. Please note that medical or religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented proof of immunity. This requirement is in place to ensure the safety of our patients staff and community. Clearance documentation will be due two weeks before assignment start. Incomplete documents will result in cancellation. Clearance appointment needs to be completed on Thursday (9/18) - recommended or Friday (9/19). First day of work/orientation will be on Saturday 9/20. General Job duties. Types of procedures required. Travelers (Med/Surg) will be assigned a primary unit and will be trained and expected to float other Med/Surg units - Medical Surgical/Peds and TCU if needed. Shift or schedule requirements. 12-hour shifts - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. EPIC; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years experience Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS ACLS (Preferred: PALS Procedural Sedation TNCC ENPC) Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Medical - 47; Surgical/Peds - 34; Transitional Care - 32 Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1:6 Surgical/Peds 1:6 Transitional Care 1:6 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves Dress Code.
