Location: On-site in Northern NJ Los Angeles CA Chicago IL (5 days/week) Schedule: Monday Friday (9 AM 6 PM) Growth Opportunity: This role is ideal for candidates with low-voltage or electrical systems experience who are eager to transition into the rapidly growing EV charging industry. As the demand for electric vehicle infrastructure expands professionals with expertise in wiring conduit installation networking and power systems will play a critical role in shaping the future of transportation electrification. Candidates will gain valuable experience working with EV charger installations troubleshooting networking configurations and industry standards positioning themselves for long-term success in the clean energy and electrification space.
Qualifications :
Key Responsibilities
Install wire and commission EV chargers and associated equipment.
Perform low-voltage electrical work including conduit installation wiring and panel connections.
Troubleshoot and repair EV chargers networking components and power distribution systems.
Work with LAN/Wi-Fi networks and configure network-connected devices.
Occasionally travel to customer sites for installation or troubleshooting (rare cases).
Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals.
Collaborate with engineers on product validation and testing.
Maintain proper documentation for installations troubleshooting and network configurations.
Additional Information :
Who Should Apply
Experience with low-voltage electrical work (wiring conduit installation panel work).
Comfortable working with 208V/240V single-phase and 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
Background in network setup and troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi) and configuring network equipment.
Interest in EV charging technology and renewable energy.
Knowledge of PLCs microcontrollers Arduino Raspberry Pi or ARM-based devices is a plus.
Ability to work early morning/late afternoon for special cases.
Willing to travel occasionally for site visits.
