Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning production equipment or systems
- Comfortable with electrical wiring using conduits and maintaining machines
- Support and configure PLCs PLC panels and PLC upgrades as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections and ensure equipment is safe and operational
- Install control and distribution components (e.g. switches relays circuit-breaker panels)
- Connect power cables and grounding leads to equipment such as motors and ranges
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans
- Perform visual and diagnostic testing on machinery and equipment
- Dismantle faulty equipment and install repaired or replacement parts
- Clean and lubricate machinery including shafts bearings and gears
- Support upkeep of facility infrastructure and physical structure and general building maintenance
- Complete additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a maintenance role within a fast-paced setting
- Education: High School diploma or GED required
- Preferred:
- Technical degree plus 4 years of experience in machine maintenance in a manufacturing environment
- OR Electronics degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience using a Forklift
- Skills:
- Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical layouts
- Strong troubleshooting and mechanical capabilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Demonstrates attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Works well both independently and within a team
- Must be willing and available to work any shift
- Overtime and weekend availability required
