Job Description

JOB TITLE: Advanced Composite Technician II - Weekend Days
LOCATION: Tulsa OK
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Perform composite part manufacturing tasks-including lay-up cutting bagging autoclave trimming and repair-in a production environment.

  • Manufacture composite aircraft parts to meet specifications in a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in Manufacturing Competencies during Employee Effectiveness Review.

  • Read work orders blueprints sketches and operation sheets to determine sequence of operations.

  • Use special tools and precision measuring devices (6 scale 1 micrometer 6 dial caliper).

  • Inspect work to ensure defect-free assemblies prior to final inspection.

  • Maintain accurate logs and records (e.g. MIR sheets DMTs Crabs PCOs DR/DI).

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area; support FOD and 5S programs; follow all safety regulations.

  • Participate in Lean initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2 years of composite manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to work with composite resins and materials.

  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints including 6 scale.

  • Basic computer skills required.

  • Must meet physical requirements of the position.

  • Must be able to work any shift.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
