About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Mining Solutions Manager Mine Control based in Johannesburg to lead the charge in growing our flagship Pitram product within a dedicated EMEA region. If you thrive at the intersection of mining and technology and know how to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships this is your chance to make a real impact:

  • Drive new business development for Micromines Pitram Mine Control solution identifying qualifying and closing opportunities.
  • Champion our go-to-market strategy delivering compelling value propositions to the underground mining sector.
  • Build strong networks fostering trust with key stakeholders and growing long-term client relationships.
  • Partner with technical pre-sales and implementation experts to ensure seamless delivery and client success.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline manage renewals and support growth strategies that keep customers coming back.
  • Represent Micromine at industry events trade shows and client meetings across the region.

About You

To succeed in this role you will have a strong technical understanding of software sales and services ideally within mining. The ability to communicate the value of technology in a competitive established market will set you up for success. Other requirements are:

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence on all levels.
  • Strong commercial acumen and an ability to balance growth with customer success.
  • Attention to detail focus tenacity and comfort in leading virtual teams to support a sales engagement.
