Introduction
POSITION: Facilities Manager (12 months contract)
INDUSTRY: Manufacturing
SALARIES: Up to R1mil p/a
AREA: Midrand Gauteng

Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead analysis of facility deficiencies and implement corrective actions
- Ensure effective execution of facilities-related projects aligned with business objectives
- Align work processes with required quality standards
- Establish and manage engineering and inspection systems
- Manage and oversee risk controls
- Ensure integrated facilities planning resource coordination and efficient work scheduling
- Provide expertise in HVAC structural and civil engineering roofing fire protection and other infrastructure needs
- Establish service standards performance measures and reporting systems
- Collaborate with stakeholders on production maintenance security and material handling plans
- Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Implement operational risk management strategy within the companys framework
- Monitor expenses and drive cost-saving initiatives
- Meet safety targets and measurements
- Ensure compliance with quality standards
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications & Experience required:
- BSc or BTech in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years experience
