Job Description

Summary:

Requirements:
  • Current State Licensure
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited Occupational or Physical Therapy or a Masters degree in SLPs.
  • Must comply with certification and licensure prerequisites set by state and national board associations.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and guide the rehab team including PTs OTs and SLPs.
  • Cultivate a positive collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
  • Oversee rehab services to ensure they meet established protocols and maintain high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with therapists to assess patient needs create treatment plans and track progress.
  • Recruit train and manage rehab staff conduct performance evaluations and support their development.
  • Develop and implement tailored rehab programs and strategies to meet patient needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and evidence-based practices to improve program effectiveness.
  • Monitor and maintain quality assurance meeting regulatory standards and patient safety.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals like physicians nurses and social workers for holistic patient care.
  • Manage the rehab department budget efficiently optimizing resources for quality care.
  • Ensure precise and timely documentation of patient assessments care plans and activities.
  • Uphold compliance with relevant regulations ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Other duties assigned by Management
