You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Texas Education Agency (TEA) seeks two QA Engineer Automated 2 resources to support the IT-SEDS (Statewide Education Data System). These individuals will provide advanced software testing services including automation performance accessibility and manual validation supporting the implementation of all agency applications and projects. All deliverables are considered works made for hire and property of TEA.
The QA Engineers will collaborate closely with the FSP development team and stakeholders to ensure high-quality application delivery.
Analyze user requirements design documents and related artifacts to develop detailed test cases.
Create and execute automated functional and regression test cases for HTML PDF and Excel reports.
Document all issues executed test cases test results and testing summaries.
Perform SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
Collaborate with developers and business users to define implement and communicate test case automation.
Execute performance and accessibility testing.
Conduct manual testing and end-to-end data validation.
Minimum Requirements (Required):
7 yrs Testing complex web applications.
7 yrs Testing across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle.
7 yrs Automation testing with Selenium and TestNG.
5 yrs Advanced Database/SQL language experience.
3 yrs Java programming experience.
2 yrs Experience using Apache POI and Apache PDFBox.
2 yrs Experience with WAPT Pro JMeter or similar performance testing tools.
Preferred Skills:
3 yrs Parsing web tables to verify results.
2 yrs Prior Zephyr Scale experience.
2 yrs Prior JIRA experience
