Job Description
- Assist with the preparation of court filings including but not limited to cite and fact checking legal briefs confirming proper Bluebook citation and assembling of exhibits and appendices.
- Prepare discovery documents subpoenas document productions production logs and privilege logs.
- Assist in the preparation of and attendance at arbitration hearings and trials.
- Assist with interviews of witnesses.
- Perform basic internet and legal research using Westlaw.
- Maintain and oversee the organization electronic and hard copy case files.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 6 years experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm.
- Bachelors degree or paralegal certificate preferred but not required.
- Experience with litigation software including Relativity Westlaw iManage and TextMap preferred.
- Experience with PowerPoint and Excel preferred.
- Experience with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking preferred.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required.
- Strong analytical verbal and written skills required.
- Fluent Spanish speaker preferred.
Pay Range: $40.00 - $67.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills experience and qualifications.
