Mobile Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Test Engineer to join our collaborative engineering team. You will play a key role in designing and testing financial services solutions that aim to reach over a billion active users. Working closely with design product and content teams you will help ensure that our mobile applications and payment systems deliver seamless secure and high-quality customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile & POS Testing

• Implement and maintain automation frameworks using XCUI Test Espresso and Appium.

• Conduct functional testing of iOS and Android applications.

• Perform POS (Point of Sale) functional testing including payment gateway and card testing.

API & Backend Testing

• Design and execute API tests with Postman REST Assured or similar tools.

• Validate payment APIs and backend services.

• Automate backend service testing using Selenium and Java.

• Test and validate SOA/Web Services architectures.

End-to-End Testing

• Coordinate and execute comprehensive end-to-end testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across the delivery lifecycle.

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and support weekly code deployments with thorough QA.

Qualifications :

Technical Skills

• Proven experience in UI and service automation for web and mobile applications.

• Strong hands-on expertise in mobile automation (iOS/Android: Espresso XCUITest Appium).

• Solid understanding of POS testing payment gateways and card testing.

• Proficiency with JUnit TestNG and API testing tools such as Postman.

• Experience with source control systems (Git).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins Maven/Ant.

Top Must-Haves

• 5 years of relevant experience in mobile and POS testing.

• Advanced skills in automation testing for iOS & Android.

• Strong background in API testing (Postman REST Assured payment API validation).

• Hands-on expertise in POS functional testing payment gateway & card testing.

• Experience coordinating end-to-end testing across multiple teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Development background or scripting experience (Shell Python Perl).

• Knowledge of ECI/ECD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Domain Knowledge

• Solid understanding of payment systems and financial services.

• Exposure to In-Store Payments (Card NFC QR) is a strong advantage.

• Hands-on experience with payment gateways and transaction processing.
