THE ROLE
We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer for a national project.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
- Deliver training to SREs and their managers on SRE principles and Agile practices;
- Support SREs through 1:1 sessions identify improvement areas in IT production and guide skill development;
- Evaluate and accelerate the maturity of SRE practices across teams;
- Participate in SRE hiring administer technical assessments and provide feedback to hiring managers;
- Co-create transformation strategies and support plans through workshops and content development.
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Solid understanding of IT production processes and end-to-end IT delivery (from development to operations);
- Agile and DevOps mindset focused on collaboration automation and problem-solving;
- Scripting skills in Python YAML and Shell for automation and tooling;
- Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Nagios;
- Strong background in Linux system administration and performance tuning;
- Network administration knowledge: DNS firewalls switches;
- Familiarity with DevOps tools: Git & Git Flow Artifactory Jenkins or GitLab CI Ansible Tower Release;
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes Docker Argo CD Vault Helm;
- Ability to assess and improve technical architecture and organizational IT processes.
- Fluency in English (written & spoken) - proficiency in French is a plus.
