Job Summary
Our team at Main Street are looking for a Locum Dentist to cover some annual leave from ASAP to the 22nd September.
Situated in the heart of Palmerston North we are a 5 chair practice currently consisting of 2 dentists and 2 OHTs. Our chair utilisation sits at about 96% and there high demand meaning excellent earning potential for somebody looking to take on some extra income!
We are a very friendly practice with a family feel among the team and a very pleasant patient base. Our support team have been with us for many years and are highly skilled in their respective positions and wed love to have you join the team even for a short period! Days and hours are negotiable.
Qualifications :
We are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years of post-graduate experience.
- Proficiency in (or exposure to - if you are recently qualified) a wide range of dental services to meet the needs of our diverse patient base
- The ability to confidently discuss treatment plans with patients ensuring they understand and feel comfortable
- Strong communication skills and approachability
- The ability to work harmoniously as part of a close team
To be successful in the role you will need to hold registration with the New Zealand Dental Council (NZDA) as well as a current Annual Practicing Certificate.
