Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
- Act as the SAP Development Lead for S/4HANA implementations overseeing WRICEF (Reports Interfaces Enhancements Forms Conversions) and BTP solutions.
- Ensure ABAP on HANA best practices CDS views OData services and Fiori/UI5 integrations (including custom field extensions).
- Lead technical design reviews enforce coding standards and optimize performance.
- Guide teams on RAP (Restful ABAP Programming) CAP model BRF and S/4HANA upgrade support.
Governance & Quality:
- Review functional specs technical designs and code deliverables from vendors/partners.
- Validate feasibility of custom developments against standard SAP functionality.
- Mitigate risks in development lifecycle (e.g. interfaces data migrations).
Collaboration:
- Liaise with functional teams (MM SD FI/CO) to align technical solutions with business processes.
- Coordinate with 3rd-party providers for end-to-end development and post-go-live support.
Innovation:
- Advocate SAP BTP adoption (e.g. workflows integrations) and S/4HANA extensibility.
- Drive automation code reusability and quick-fix solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Mandatory:
- Education: BE/BTech/MCA.
- Experience: 8 12 years in SAP ABAP with 3 years in S/4HANA projects.
- Technical Expertise:

WRICEF (ALV IDOCs APIs BADIs Adobe Forms Migration Cockpit).

ABAP on HANA CDS OData Fiori/UI5.

BTP (RAP CAP Business Services).

Upgrades and BRF.

- Soft Skills: Strong communication stakeholder management and multitasking.
Preferred:
- Exposure to multinational environments and Agile methodologies.
- Experience leading offshore/onsite teams.
Role Expectations:
- Leadership: Mentor junior developers manage vendor teams and ensure on-time delivery.
- Quality Focus: Uphold SAP s clean core principles and minimize technical debt.
- Hybrid Work: Collaborate effectively in a hybrid model (2 days/week in Bengaluru office).
