Global Accountant/ Controller

The Global DCS Accountant/Controller will manage key finance processes across the globe supporting the Global DCS lead including month end review budgeting forecasting and providing key insights to improve financial and non-financial metrics.

They will be a strong team player with a substantial understanding of accounting principles and processes.

Responsibilities

• Review of global financial performance with supporting financial analysis commentary and suggestions to improve performance of key financial and non-financial metrics
• Prepare consolidated reporting and deliverables for global DCS lead
• Evaluate existing accounting processes to ensure accuracy/transparency of month end reported data
• Drive the global monthly forecast process to ensure an accurate representation of expected future revenue and profit expectations are shown by country/client
• Support the global DCS budget process end to end
• Critically assess and provide support with commercial submissions/bids 
• Provide feedback training and support to regional finance teams as required
• Working on ad-hoc projects including new systems implementations business acquisitions cross border projects etc.
• Line management responsibilities of direct reports if applicable
• Focus on continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for process efficiencies and simplification.
• SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role which are to be adhered to where applicable
• Working in accordance with our accounting and behavioural values.

Qualifications :

Key Requirements

• Qualified / Part Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Strong excel and MS office applications experience.
• Confident individual with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
• Accuracy and high-level attention to detail
• Experience working in a fast-moving dynamic environment.
• Substantial understanding of multi-currency environment accounting principles and processes
