Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise wood and bamboo processing operations including sawing drying moulding laminating and finishing.
- Ensure production targets quality standards and safety protocols are met consistently.
- Maintain and manage processing equipment tools and machinery.
- Oversee general facility operations power water workshop storage and security.
- Lead a team of technicians operators and support staff.
- Plan routine maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and workplace safety standards.
- Maintain production records inventory logs and facility reports.
- Support product development and continuous improvement of processing techniques.
- Train and supervise National Service Personnel assigned to the facility to build their skills and ensure effective contribution to operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Wood Technology Industrial Engineering Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years experience in wood bamboo or related manufacturing/processing environment.
- Strong understanding of production workflows and machinery in wood or bamboo processing.
- Proven experience in facility or operations management.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate across departments.
- Strong organizational problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Ghana s industrial and environmental regulations is an advantage.
